OpenClaw 2026.4.24 Brings Full-Agent Voice Calls and DeepSeek V4 Integration

OpenClaw’s 2026.4.24 release, announced April 25, brings three major capability upgrades that push the agent beyond text-only interaction.

Full-agent voice calls β€” Voice calls can now route directly to the full OpenClaw agent, not just a voice layer. This enables end-to-end conversational task execution over voice, reducing the handoff friction that plagued earlier voice integrations. OpenClaw says this lowers support costs and improves lead qualification for contact centers and SaaS workflows.

DeepSeek V4 Flash and Pro β€” The release integrates DeepSeek V4 in both Flash (lightweight, fast) and Pro (complex reasoning) variants. Businesses can route simple tasks to Flash for speed and cost efficiency, and kick heavy reasoning to Pro β€” aligning inference spend with task complexity.

Smarter browser automation β€” Coordinate-level click support and improved error recovery increase reliability for unattended browser RPA tasks like checkout automation, KYC data capture, and internal dashboard operations.

Channel fixes β€” The release also ships fixes for Telegram, Slack, MCP, sessions, and text-to-speech (TTS), strengthening multi-channel deployment reliability for enterprise messaging and voice IVR replacement setups.

OpenClaw cited market research suggesting AI-driven customer interactions could account for 70% of all engagement by 2026, with voice-enabled agents driving a significant portion of that shift.
