OpenClaw 2026.4.24 Brings Full-Agent Voice Calls and DeepSeek V4 Models
OpenClaw released version 2026.4.24 on April 25, 2026, marking one of the more substantial feature drops in recent weeks. The headline feature is full-agent voice calls — voice interactions now route directly to the full AI agent rather than a limited interface, enabling end-to-end conversational task execution.
The release also adds DeepSeek V4 Flash and Pro as available models, giving users a broader range for cost-performance tuning. Browser automation gets coordinate-level click support and improved recovery mechanisms, aimed at reducing failures in unattended runs for tasks like checkout automation, KYC capture, and internal dashboard operations.
Fixes are included for Telegram, Slack, MCP, sessions, and text-to-speech integrations. According to OpenClaw’s official announcement, the voice routing update is particularly relevant for contact centers and SaaS workflows where it could reduce support costs and improve lead qualification.
This release predates the problematic 2026.4.26 update by two days and appears to be generally well-received compared to its follow-up.
