OpenClaw Launches Skill Workshop: Review and Apply Agent Skills Before They Go Live

OpenClaw shipped a new Skill Workshop feature on June 3, giving users a structured way to review and apply proposed skills before they alter agent behavior. The Workshop is surfaced across Chat, Control UI, and the agent’s workflow tooling.

The motivation is straightforward: skills can dramatically change how an agent operates, and giving operators a chance to inspect and tweak proposed skills before activation reduces surprise behavior. The Workshop interface lets you:

  • Review proposed skill changes in context before applying
  • Revise skill parameters or prompts inline
  • Apply only after you’re satisfied the skill does what you expect

This lands alongside the broader skill security push from earlier in the week — the NVIDIA collaboration introducing SkillSpector scanning for ClawHub skills — signaling that OpenClaw is taking the skill ecosystem’s safety and transparency seriously as it matures.
