OpenClaw 2026.7.2-beta Advances Remote Coding Sessions

OpenClaw’s 2026.7.2 beta line continues to ship at a brisk pace, with beta.3 landing July 18, 2026 as the most recent entry. The headline feature across this cycle is remote coding sessions: operators can now run Control UI sessions on cloud workers, open Codex and Claude catalog sessions directly in a terminal on their owning hosts, and resume OpenCode and Pi sessions from a terminal.

Native automation and node features are also advancing, with automations parity coming to mobile, foreground Voice Wake on Android, and exposed camera, location, and clipboard controls. Gateway and recovery improvements are signposted as the team heads toward a stable release.

The 2026.7.2 line follows the landmark 2026.7.1 stable release from July 13, which shipped a major Control UI overhaul, GPT-5.6 as the new-setup default, Tencent Hy3 and Meta Muse Spark 1.1 support, and an important security patch tied to CVE-2026-62227.
