Project and Client Management

Before you start, you give OpenClaw your client roster:

Accounts Receivable Tracking

OpenClaw tracks what’s outstanding:

What You Need to Set It Up

  1. Client roster — Names, email addresses, hourly rates or flat fees, payment terms (Net 15/30/60), and any retainer terms. One-time setup.
  2. Slack or Telegram channel — Where you’ll send time logs. That’s the entire interface.
  3. A place to store the log — A file in your OpenClaw workspace. OpenClaw maintains it.
  4. Optional: email access — If you want OpenClaw to send invoices directly.

Total setup time: 20–30 minutes. After that, every message you send is a time entry.

Limitations

  • Not a full accounting system — It tracks time and invoices, not expenses, taxes held, or profit/loss. For that, you need actual accounting software.
  • No native PDF generation — You may need to paste the invoice into a tool or template to get a properly formatted PDF to send to clients.
  • Multi-currency — If you work internationally with different currencies, that’s more configuration.
